Does anyone have any info on the max tire size that can be put on the F350's without doing a lift at all? Also how big can you go with just a level kit? I like the look of the wider tires while maintaining the higher profile tire.
You can put on 35's. If you go with a 13 inch wide tire it will rub a bit. I'm going with a 35 that is 11 inches wide. Should be on the truck tomorrow.
Thanks for the info. I have 35 12.5's on my F150 now (with a 4" lift) and I would settle for that size on my soon to be new F350 as long as I only have to do a level kit. I like the look of the wider tires without having to do another lift.
2kmelat, tell me about the Cooper STT. How did they balance out for ya? Did they take a lot of weight? Do they rub at max turn?
they balance really good. one was only 1.75 0z and the worse was 3.?. I live off road with my truck and I have found that they seem to last and ride better then any other one that I have try and I have tried alot of them. On my 08 they rub very little and my 11 they havent rub. I do have a 2inch lift for the front coming next week more for the look. If you go with a m/t rotat them every 3 to 4 thousand mile you will double the life out of them. and they are pretty quit on the road. And I have a 25ft gooseneck that I tow my 12000 pound exivator with no problem.
