Fan thermostat

My truck came with an electric fan with just an on off switch. Since i'm in the process of wireing i want to put a thermostat on it. They have the type with the probe that pushes into the rad fins. Also the unit withthe sender that goes into the manifold. I already have a direct mechanical guage in that hole. Any recomendations on which type to go with?? Never used one of these before always went with the fan clutch.

I'm using the same one as Joe, bought from Ebay. Mine uses the manifold sender to trigger the built in relay.

I direct power the fan from the battery via a second relay, so this switch turns on the second relay. (keeps power load out of the main fuse panel, along with air bag pump, fuel pump and headlights)
