Rear seat ext cab

My ride is a stock 2004 F-150 heritage, navy blue automatic 4x4 4.7L V-8.

I recently saw a friend of a friends truck, and the back seats were different then mine. The rear bench is devided 2/3 and 1/3 and the flip up, not very space concervative. But what this other f150 had was the seat folder to the floor and then were flat across. Does anyone know what this setup is called, or what style it would be standard in. And finally if someone knew where i could come across one or might be willing to sell/trade one themselves.

Thank you for any help, have a nice day driving your Ford.

I see you have the elusive 4.7... Not quite sure what you mean, but my 98 ext. cab.......the seat folds forward and the back of the seat folds down to form a totally flat surface. Heck...a guy could sleep on it with a big cushion or something...

I'm guessing he has a 4.6 and just hit the wrong key...lol

If your wanting to swap out the back seat , your probably going to have to go with 97 to 03 truck. Not sure if an 04 & up F-150 will fit.

Thank you guys, I feel really dumb. i didn't catch this till now. You are all correct 4.6L. I'ma *******! I can't believe i went back to my old truck (4.7L 2000 tundra) before i was able to covert over to Ford only.

Anyhow it is an ext cab styleside but the year i am unsure of. I do believe the only seats that would fit are from the 97-03/ 04 heritage, what i was trying to figure out is if there was a certain model (I.E. xlt, lariat, fx4) that is more likely to have the seat type i am looking for.

Thanks again,
Boomer

LOL...I would gladly post a pic, but the entire back seat is where I keep bins of parts and some tools. I use it in my business. I originally thought I would fold it all flat and get more room. But actually then you lose the floor area in front of the seat. For me it worked out a lot better to just put some big beach towels on the back and seat area and stack stuff that way. It works out well...my only beef is that no back door on driver side...only access thru back door on other side. Works out OK though. My truck is the one in the line below...
