EGR TSB
Does anyone have the number of the TSB calling for the replacement of the oil cooler when the EGR cooler goes? My truck is fixed at the dealer but they are saying the emissions warranty covering 100% isn't in effect because the oil cooler took out the EGR cooler. Aren't both of these part of the emissions system on the truck and therefor covered 100%? The turbo rebuild was covered under the emissions warranty. I got a refund check from the dealer a month after I paid the deductable. Need ammo to deal with the billing department. Thank you.

Thank you for the quick reply Brickie. I got it covered 100% but it involved going to the service manager to do so. The tech wrote it up as a faulty oil cooler even though in his narrative he states he replaced a defective EGR cooler. The service writer is going only on what the tech rights and bills me for the repair deductable. The service manager checks the repair against the FMCo online repair program and walha!!!! its covered 100%. Thanks again for your help.
