crawl underneath it and read your id tags and case stampings. everything you need to know is either stamped into the cases and housings or is stamped onto a metal tag held on by one of the bolts. the guys on here can decipher the id's in about two seconds flat.

my friends 85 f250 diesel has a dana 70 rear and dana 44ifs HD front end with a 1356 case (I think) 86 was also the first year of the sterling 10.25, so you probobly have that. my 86 f250 has the sterling 10.25 and the HD dana 50 ifs front and a NP208 case.

Front is Dana 50 if Extended cab, D44HD if reg cab. Rear is definitely Sterling 10.25.
Transfer on most 6.9's is BW 13-45. I've never seen a 208 on a diesel, but I suppose it's possible.
