HI there. first of all, sorry for my english ... I own a Ford Ranger 1989 with a 2.9l 2wd king cab XLT. I love it. I want to know what i have to do with my valv cover gasket (i guess it's the name of this part in english...). I changed it 2 years ago and it take me a long time and now, it leaks again... What can i do to repare this for a long time (more than two years) ? Thanks you very much for your answers...

No problem on the language - what's your native language? Something north or central european, I'm guessing. Kannste deutsch?
Try to find some valve cover gaskets made of silicone rubber - not paper or cork. They don't break down as quickly, and never dry out or harden. Also, use gasket surface spray - it fills small cracks and grooves in the sealing surfaces, and is a mild adhesive to hold the gasket in place. Lastly, make sure to apply the proper torque to the cover bolts: not enough, and the gasket can't seal; too much, and the gasket will be pushed out.
