block heater question??

its that time of year to start plugging the truck in. Today plugged it in and the cord started sparking my question is has this happened to anyone else i replaced the plug end and still the same thing?? should i just buy a new cord??

where is it sparking exactly ?

do the Marinco mod before you replace the whole cord this will replace the end if that is your issue ?

Check the breaker capacty that serves the circuit. If it is 20amp or 15 amp,and not tripping when you plug in,do't worry about it. It is normal to get a spark when pluging in where the load is heavy,even more common with resistive loads.
