Video -- fuel filter connector

Hi,

Found this 14 second vid about the fuel filter connector. Seems pretty straightforward.

funny thing about information

Just a side note when new things like that come around on new cars and trucks there is no warning about the changes in the dealership world. When that style first came out there were many techs breaking that connector, and back then when we broke them the only way to get a new one was to buy the entire fuel line... Now they have replacement parts. There are two different types of that design and it is the color that sets them appart. they are either blue like the one on the vidio or pink.

Thanks for the video Ford2go, I just changed mine today and that little booger who'd have got me. I have the blue connector like the one on the video. There is a short 6" pigtail that has the same connector back towards the tank I was thinking ford might have added that to ease rotation of the line at the filter??? My Truck says 12/05 mfg date on driver door. BTW I put in a Puralator say Made in China what a joke.
