My 8-year old Husky Liners in the Explorer are tan. Going on 8 years with them and no one has commented on them being too light or too dark.
But my Explorer and Expedition are trucks with seats, not limousines...

I have a 2010 Expedition EL and we got front, middle, 3rd and cargo liner. Very nice fit and finish. One thing, it wasn't clear in the instructions but I had to trim 2nd or 3rd row (can't recall) mat as it's designed to fit with either the bench seats or the rear console setup. The instructions are actually printed on the underside of the mats.
I did get sent the wrong 2nd or 3rd row mat initially but after a call on Sunday afternoon, the mat was delivered on Tuesday. Good customer service.
I'd buy again. We got the digital fit. Excellent color match.
I don't have a mat to cover the entire cargo area if all the seats were folded down/fwd as posted above. That's a good idea but I can count on one hand in the past 8 years where our family would have needed that. I do like the idea though.
The 2nd row weathertech digital fit mats will hold the contents of a 32oz soda when dropped on the mat...

Weathertech - best money I spent on my Expy. Quality, fit, perfect. I went with the gray mats for the interior (my truck has the stone interior) and the gray matches the carpet very well. I bought the tan for the cargo area as the carpt and trim is tan in the back.
Whatever color you buy I think you'll be quite happy.
