What would you change?
drivers grab handle needed
fuel filler door open from INSIDE CAB
Power Locking/Unlock Tailgate
add telescopic steering wheel
rear head rest capability to fold flush / into seat to not obstruct view
rear step bar for SCREW 5.5 bed
I like this truck alot however:
add telescopic steering wheel
make cruise control butoons ergonomic again, like my 92 F150 had and the wifey's 2002 Explorer has
manual tranny
tranny dipstick
remove latch / locking on center armrest
more storage in cab
real oil pressure gauge
real transmission temp gauge
transmission indicator light NOT bright orange
eliminate the extra W/S wiper wipe after off

1) Use the 2004-2008 tailgate and tail lights. The 09+ is abominable.
2) Electric steering and therefore deletion of the hydraulic steering pump.
3) Electric AC and heater, so the AC can be run with the engine off and the heater can be hot immediatly.
4) Include power door locks on the XL's as a standard feature.
5) Include a USB port on the XL's AM/FM/Sirius/CD radio.
6) Include the inside/outside temperature gauge on the XL's.
7) Quit using 1982 Toyota Tercel wheels and tires on the XL's.
8) Include the cup holders in the 40/20/40 seat's armrest on the XL. What? you couldn't spring for an extra $3.00 piece of plastic just because it's an XL???
9) For the love of God, sell a 2 wheel drive that doesn't sit 16 miles higher in the rear than in the front. The 4wd front shocks and springs can't be anymore expensive than the 2WD's.
10) Make the whole body out of aluminum, not just the hood. 4900 lbs for a reg cab short bed 2wd is a little ridiculous. Aluminum can corrode, but it can't rust.
11) Put a cap back on the fuel filler. Yes, I know... No more forgetting the gas cap, no more emmission's check of gas cap seal, convenience of no gas cap to open and there's a trap that prevents gas theft via syphoning, but there isn't anything to prevent someone from dumping crap like sand or drain-o in the tank. A locking gas cap will...
12) Remove the 1960's radio antenna and do something else, like ChevroNissanYota does.
- Make it so the F150 can have the same 6.7 Diesel motor as the Super Duties.
- On the Heavy Duty F150's make it so we can use the same wheels as the Super Duties so we have a choice of styles to choose from for once.
- Skip all the bull and rebuild the 6.2 gas engine as a 4v and while your at it deepen the stroke, none of this "Short stoke for high horsepower" stuff.
- 50 gallon gas\diesel tank standard with long bed.
- Start using geared limited slip differentials in the back and maybe in the front too.
- Factory 3-5 gauge cluster on the A-pillar.
- Real black cloth seats available in all trims.
- Vinyl floors in all trims.
- Full set of dipsticks for fluids
- Factory 10,000 lbs+ front hitch receiver.
- Factory available full brush guard in black or chrome
- Electric heat at the very least.
- Room for 35" tires with no rubbing on 4x4s
- Air ride or at least allow to lower the tail gate a few inches to help with loading.
- Polyurethane bushings used only.
- Dual factory steering stabilizers
- Back up camera standard
- Well defined fuse blocks so if you don't have the owners manual you can still figure out what a fuse does.
- All gauges have dual modes settable by the dealer or scan tool: Idiot gauge mode and Accurate gauge mode.
- Dealer purchasable tuner with Stock/Economy/Max Power tunes with room for 5 more tunes.
- Cab clearance lights standard.
- Massively over sized brakes.

Dude, I think you should buy a Kenworth!
Could you even fit that monster motor in the engine bay of a 150?
Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts
I can only imagine the look on my parents face when I come home with one.

Dipstick for the tranny.
Drivers side grab handle.
Fuel cap. My comments on this are already well know....
Remove the TCS, RCS, (PIA system) or at least make it so that it actually turns off when you push the stupid button.
Put a real fan on the motor.
Ditch the plastic dam under the motor.
Keep the e-locker engaged past 25 mph....say like 40 mph.

Personally I think that Superduty sales would sky rocket of they changed the design of the SD to match the F-150. I have had an epiphany and now believe the F-150 is bad a$$ looking.
