mpg and hp help
I have a 98 Expy 4x4 with a 5.4. I just installed a K&N Generation 2 FIPK Kit and dual exhaust with no mufflers. I love the sound!! I havent noticed any difference at all on my gas mileage. I want more horsepower but I also want better mpg. Any ideas? Im thinking of a mass air flow sensor or a tbs. I just bought the truck a few weeks ago with 60000 miles and am getting about 300 miles per tank. Is this normal? Also can I use a tornado with the K&N kit?

It seems that the general consensus on here is that the Tornado is a waste of money. One thing you might want to try is a chip for you PCM. Take a look at motorhaven.autoanything.com for chips.

ok, Thanks. Most of all, Im wanting better mpg and anything I can will help. I drive about 600 miles a week, thats about $75 in gas per week which is more than my truck payment, hehe
