NSS and steering column

I finally got my turn signal switch and I need to repair my neutral safety switch. The Y piece that snaps onto the column is it angled at the other end. Also what do I need to do to drop the column to make it easier to get at. Does anyone have pics so I can see how it goes together.

Almost driving

Ok the new turn signal switch is installed and everything works. The problem now is putting the neutral safety switch clamp back on the column. I somehow knocked it off. Does anyone have any suggestions, the space is tight and my hands large. Is it worth it to drop the column to get at it, if so what do I need to loosen to achieve that. Also are there any manuals for the 67-72 f-100 so I don't do more damage when I have to fix something,

Is yours a 2wd? I am rebuilding a 71 f250 4x4 column now I'm taking pics as I go. Here's a thread you should check out for service manuals on our trucks https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...r-67-72-a.html
