Having Problems with Gas ! !
My '98 Expy with 175K is EXTREMELY well maintained. On a recent trip to Fla I got 20mpg keeping around 60 with the cruise control on and no a/c(didn't need it).
Anyway on my last trip back every tankful resulted in the car misfiring during accelaration but running smooth at cruising speed. Going thru Spartanburg, SC I saw a sign at a gas station that read "Quality gas- With or Without Ethanol".
It made me wonder if others are having similar problems and if Ethanol is the cause.
Any feedback is appreciated.

All that I have used in my 99 is 10% ethanol. I would say you have some bad gass period or you have a coil boot that has gone bad, water in the sparkplug well can have the same results. I would say it could be any one of the above.
