Mufflers
My goal is to have an exhaust that has a deep, loud, throaty tone at idle, and maintains that sound throughout the RPM range. My key goals are loudness and deep tone.
Right now, I have the stock, 6 into 1 manifold with a 2.25" pipe running to a Magnaflow muffler. It sounds pretty good, but doesn't have the volume that I'd like. Right now for the true dual exhaust, I'm considering running dual 2.25" pipes to 2 Flowmaster Super 44's, 2.5" out the back of the mufflers, and exiting behind the rear wheels, and angling outward and a little bit down. How do you guys think the Super 44's would sound with this configuration? Should I go with one dual in/out muffler as opposed to 2 mufflers? Should I scrap the Super 44 Idea and go with Super 40's? Or even Magnaflow's?
Thanks in advance for your opinions!

Go through that if you haven't done so. Sound is all in the ear of the beholder. There is no way to tell what it will sound like over an internet forum. You might have to do some experimenting with different mufflers to get the sound you want.
You may just want to experiment. Tailpipe configurations can make as much of a difference as an entirely different muffler can, also. Just FYI.
