Stay away from the Platinum Burners Fog Light. i got them on clearance and they are terrible. Absolutely terrible beam pattern. They are labeled as wide beam fogs but they really aren't. they are more of a random spot, and i feel like they blind oncoming traffic.
I would look at hella 500 fog's. They are hard to find and a little more pricey, but you cant beat the pattern and the light output.
Also Optix- they are made by hella, they are still high quality, but much cheaper.
I have Hella Micro DE on two vehicles I like the light pattern about the same as the Hella 500's just a lot smaller. My Hella Lights :: Micro DE Series
I vote for rectangular ones. Get some that match the style of the truck and not the goofy looking ones that most places seem to sell now.
Since your kinda limited where you can mount them and you don't have the option to use the EB/diesel bumper with the holes in it. I would try to mount them behind the grille. If that doesn't work mount them on top of the bumper.
I have Hella 550 in my front bumper. They are a little large for mounting in the grille. Maybe the Hella 450 will work for that.
KC makes some nice ones that are not that big. These are good lights. They are slimmer and will work better for behind the grille. You might find some on Ebay for less.
If you switch to a 92-96 front end then get the bumper with the openings in it and mount the lights in there like mine. If you get those slimmer KCs they can still be transferred over the bumper openings.
That F150 looks like its pretty nice. Does it have paint or primer? Its hard to tell from the picture. Those are the odd looking lights I was talking about that don't match the truck at all. It would look tons better if it had some that looked like the headlights.
As for under the bumper, the lights need to be closer together centered under each side of the grille. FYI, the holes under the bumper are not in the same spot on each side. I have no idea why that is.
im thinkin of fog lights aswell, texasguy i agree with you, most of the aftermarket lights usually look goofey on our trucks, i tried lookin for some plain round 3 inch lights to put on my plastic lip under the front bumper neatly ( i wanted to use like a 3 inch hole saw and snuggly fit the fog lights in and mount them from behind), but am having no luck finding plain lights not the goofey curved ones weird ones like on the silver truck above. Im sure their nice lights, just not for these stile trucks.

What the hell happened to the F250?
It is paint, the color is QuickSilver.
I do agree these little, but super bright fog lights don't go well on these trucks...as you can see, but they are what they are. lol
That's my 1990 F150 rolling chassis parts truck I bought last fall.
That F250 is not mine. It's been beatin' and abused on a farm for the past 10 years now.
Heres a vid just to give you an idea what's this thing been through....
Even after all that! Still runs and drives perfectlly fine, runs great and drives nice and straight! 10 years of farm abuse has tooken it's toll on the body, but engine and driveline just keeps going and going!

It might be a little hard to find round lights that look normal that are that size. I have seen them before though.
I just looked on Ebay and didn't see anything that size that was suitable.
Why not do rectangular ones like a Lightning. You could cut the valance for them too. It would be a bit more tricky though.
