suspension question

ok so i was looking through a pamphlet for the 03 excursion (ooo i whant one soo bad). But anyway in the front suspension it says that it has a Twin I-beam (im thinking TTb like my 82 has). Well anyway this struck me as a suprise becouse i thought that superdutie chasis were all straight/live front axles. Anyone able to unconfuse me please chime in, thanks.

Dog is correct.

2 wheel drive carries the twin I beam
4X4 carries solid axle
