1999 F250 SD V10 4X4 71K miles original owner

I changed my fuel filter the other day and noticed the inlet side clip was gone. The hose clipped tightly onto the new filter but I would rather have the added security of having the clip. The dealer only shows the clip as part of the entire fuel line assembly. Does anyone know where I might possibly get one of these. Secondly while underneath I noticed the brake lines looking really rotted is this a common problem on these trucks. I do not live near the salt water or anything and replacement does not look like too much fun.
