First and Foremost, welcome to the Family of Ford Truck Enthusiasat!! Not an authority, I am certain there will be a number of more knowledgeable members who will be providing advise; particularly those who have, or in the process of restoring their rides. Only commment I have, and speaking from experience, if considering going with the 'front disc.' brake upgrade you may need to factor in the larger hub into your decision. Purchased a set of American Racing Torq thrust mags and later had to have them turned because of the upgrade adding to the cost of already expensive rims. Anyhow, food for thought. Again, welcome to FTE!!
Does any one know where I can get some after market wheel for a f100
Welcome to FTE!
Bill W is right on the $$$! Craigslist is the place to look for rims. Upgrading to PS,PB, and discs is very easy on these trucks. The easyest way is to find a later model truck ( around 68-72) that has disc breaks already, on craigslist for cheap. Pull all the parts you need for your upgrade and sell the rest! You'll find all the help you need to do the swap right here!
IMO, if there's space available best to obtain a donor ( 73-79), and hopefully from same engine family; that's where the 2-3 sheave damper, pullys, brackets, etc. come in handy, making several trips trying to find the right combination can be as hard to come by as finding hen's teeth. With the p/s upgrade, make sure to take the bracket between firewall and MS., also the proportion valve. Seem to recall member mentioning need to take the driver's side engine purch which is slightly slanted to accomodate the longer power steering box. Then there's the issue of whether to go with the Bendix p/s box, or Ford p/s box which bring in a whole new set of issues and best save for another day.

Hold up there new forum leader, just because they gave you one of them fresh out of the box mod hats to wear, don't mean we will allow you to come around here handing out bad info.
It's 73 to 76 donor trucks for V8s and 73 to 79 for 6 cyl. F100s. Also it's brakes not breaks.
