I just did my front ball joints and followed Guzzles thread on packing the hub bearings.
The bearings looked good without any marks on the needles.
I am hearing a low speed hum(like tire noise) but it does not change with speed or surface changes. I am leaning toward the driver side bearing. Any ideas appreciated.

Update: I pumped grease into my hubs, by pulling the ABS plug, as someone on another thread has been doing. I took the fitting of the end of the rigid tube on the grease gun, Stuck it into the ABS hole on the hub and pumped in Mobile synthetic.
That really silenced the hum down to almost nothing.
Prove that the bearing is in the early stages of failure to me.
Ordered new hub today Thanks everyone Jim
