I just replaced mine with a Stancor 15V....Took about 2 Hrs.
On my 7.3 , It was( Looking From the Front Bumper) Right on top of the motor , and just to left side behind the fuel filter...
There was 2 Solinods...Gpr is the back One .
To do the GPR on the cheap, get a GPR-109 (napa part number), they are about $20 and just as good as the stock ford one, and $40 cheaper.....
If you ask for the napa part by the number, the clerk may look at you weird and ask how you know that number, then you can plug FTE for any customers around. haha...
For a free fix, ( if it still works) you can swap the AIH relay ( the relay in front of the GPR) for the GPR and eliminate the AIH altogether.... Many have done this....
If your gonna do it, do it right. Why not upgrade once and be done. Go with the Stancor relay, it's abit more, and you won't be sorry. Not to dis NAPA, but after I replaced mine on my 99, the original was fried.
