Now THAT'S what I'm talking about haha. Is that leveling kit a drop shackle kit or a mini spring kit though? I know some people say mini springs are better...haven't really gone down that road too far though.
The big thing is, these shocks LOOK like factory originals...and I have over 260k on the truck. I'm going to go out this afternoon and bounce on my truck and see what it does.
How could I tell if my leaf springs are worn out though? I mean, 260k is a lot, I don't know if they could or should be worn out at this point. I do know that the single previous owner did NOT really tow much. I think he said the heaviest thing he ever towed was a bobcat, and he only pulled that a couple of times over a month or two.
As to the tires, I have played around with air pressure, and I haven't noticed any major change in my problem...I'm really starting to think my biggest problem here is old shocks.
It is a shackle lift, I have had it on my truck for more than 2 years, and am completley satisfied with it.
BTW your springs are probably fine. if anything they may be bound up from not getting enough exercise.....
