OT but need help

Wifey's Exploder is having issues and I really need to figure it out so she can have 4x4 again. Any help would be appreciated.

I got it fixed yesterday. No idea what the problem was but I ended up "fixing" it by pulling the 20a maxi fuse under the hood for the Tcase, then reinstalling it. I also cleared the codes with AE. Everything works like normal now... it was definitely something 4x4 related but exactly what it was I have no idea. I do know where every stinkin' relay is under the dash now, and how to disassemble it though...

I know the answer to that question- it's going to crap out again at a time that it's highly inconvenient. For example- in the middle of a trip in nasty conditions.

No doubt about that. Think I would be putting a set of tire chains under the seat......

That piece of crap stays parked for the big trips this time of year. Whitey is the chosen mode of transport.

I hear ya Chase. The wife called me last night with my daughter and a couple of her friends in the car after horseback lessons- "The lights are lit on the dash and the windows won't roll up or down." on her expy. I said "Pull over I'll be right there." Get there and it's obvious her alternator is shot. The terminals on the battery are nice and clean and luckily I have the same Interstate battery in her truck just like the ones I have in mine (1000 cranking amps 850 cca.), so I pulled up along side and put the cables on it to charge her up and get her home. Man I am getting tired of that POS, but then again, it's 10 years old and it's the original alternator with 145K on it so who am I to complain?
