hey guys i have a quick question, i have been trying to figure out if this hole is stock? its right below the ranger emblem and is on both sides and seem to perfect to be somthing a P.O put in but maybe? if it is stock what is it for haha?
I cant think of anything in that part of the bed other than lower trim. But surely it wouldnt require a hole that big.
I am going to guess that that is not stock. But there will be someone along shortly with alot more knowledge of these trucks than me im sure.
yeah, well i have lower trim and this hole is like 3 inches below the ranger emblem i am glad i am not the only guy that has no idea haha i felt dumb! the body is a 74 if that helps at all haha..
i just took the tape measure to it and the holes are exactly 7 inches from the tail light trim but i found the drives side is like 7 inches from the side marker light trim and the other is about 6 and 3/4 but it could be trim being off on eatch side. so i am not sure and it seems somthing circular could have been mounted to these holes maybe some kind of antenna's for a cb or somthing? i seem to remember some trucks had those with springs on the sides but they were not stock haha..
