Wooohooo!! New 5er on the way!

Well, it's official, we pulled the trigger on our first 5er! We are trading our TT in on a 2010 Fuzion 302 TE II. This is our first 5th wheel and we are really looking forward to the extra space for us and the Danes.

Should be picking it up either this Saturday or next Saturday, not that it really matters, because it will simply be towed to the storage facility for the winter. Although, I think some winter camping may be in order!!

Pictures will be posted soon.

We went to a 5th wheel from a TT last spring. You won't be dissappointed in the towing characteristics. The difference is night and day. One hand on the steering wheel under any conditions. Doesn't matter the road or what is going by you. Straight as a pin.

Hooking up is a lot quicker and easier on the back. No cranking the tongue up to hook up the WD bars. And yes the extra storage is an added bonus aas well.

ConGrats! You will love it! I have one thing to add, Just USE it. So many people buy an RV and then use it 2000 miles a year or less and it sets. A 5er is so much more easy to pull than a TT. Check those Tires on the 5er. Keep the air pressures up, and keep it at 65.

Congrats, bought mine last spring after having my TT for so many years. I think I put about 6K on my 5er this summer. You will love it.

One more thing on these new 5er's, should go without saying but be sure they are winterized if you are not going to use them.

I-beam: congrats on your new trailer as well!

Senix: thanks for the reminder, but I already noticed the dealer has completed the winterizing of the water lines. now if we go winter camping, I will have to flush and re-winterize, but that doesn't take very long.
