Hey guys I have a 1999.5 F250 and I'm going to put new front wheel bearings in this weekend. I have rear wheel ABS only so I'm looking at the hubs without ABS and they are more expensive which makes no sense to me. Can I use the ABS hubs and cut the wire? It would save some money and I would have the port to pump grease in there. Is it the exact same hub just one has the wire and one doesn't? Thanks in advance. Eric
Just make sure if yours are the coarse threads or the fine thread hubs, theres two kinds. I've never ordered hubs but to be safe, take a look, unless you know already.
I agree the cheap ones are not the best route but money is tight and I only put 8000 per year on the truck. The next set will be timken. I appreciate your input though. Do you guys know if the guy fabing the grease ports for the abs port is selling them yet?

I don't think he was selling them per say. The drawing is available and you should be able to make one up, or have one made locally. I know I built one from the drawing and it took less than a half hour on my mini-lathe. If you are wanting it to be a plug, you can plug it with a rubber plug or something from a hardware store. Just make sure it has a positive engagement, so it won't fall out.
