I have had the glowshift guages for a bout 6 months. the exhaust temp guage works sometimes--reads right one minute and then pegs-out and then will just come back to normal. trans temp works fine, but haven't hooked up my boost guage yet the way the instructions say. i recommend not using their installation instructions and use another companies with better pix and description.

I'm new to it. Don't know the names of much under the hood on the diesel. Its a hose that runs under the turbo from the driver side to the pass and hooks to a sensor. There's a thread I started " where do I hook my gauges up at" the guys posted pics on it

AIH for boost

If you want to delete your air intake heater, clay sells a really nice machined piece you screw into the hole and put your boost sensor right there, nice and clean.

Nope

Won't hurt anything, and it will actually improve airflow through the turbo, its a bonus. I live in MT, and at -20, my truck doesn't miss it a bit

No. The AIH basically never runs. The conditions have to be perfect with all the stars lined up before it gets power. I think its explained on Clays site. Wont hurt a thing!

no...from what i have been told...like 7 different things need to all happen at the same time for the heater to kick on. i have had mine unhooked since i bought it. it really removes a huge air restriction

Thanks. I've hit that multi-quote before and didn't get it, I savvy now.
