I just installed the Rancho 9000's and there is a huge difference between them and the stock ones. They took out the rear end sliding feel when going over a bump in a curve. I also installed the Rancho 5000 steering shock, but I could not tell much difference there.
I also have issues with Super cab hopping around in the back after hitting bumps or going around a curve sometimes, also I'm unloaded. So if I install Rancho 9000's in rear will these help with this issue? Thanks
Are you lifted? I'll be running stock height initially.
I have a 3 inch spacer in the front with 2.5 shock extentions. The rear just has a 1 inch add a leaf with the air bags fully aired up only adds another 1/2 inch . The shocks are the ones rated to fit on a stock f350 which the same part# will also fit ones with 2.5 inches of lift.
Jayman, your truck looks great (dare I use the old word awesome!). I plan on running my truck stock but am open to doing a 1-2 lift possibly - front and rear, I think a dually needs to keep the rake). I like how the bilsteins would cover me for both. I took my truck out this weekend and let me tell you I felt every little patch job on the highways. Almost jerked the steering wheel out of my hands a few times!
What size tires and wheels are you running on your truck. They look great. Also do you have any problem with tire rub?
The wheels are BMF 20x10 with the 3.5 inch lip ,I don't know the offset off hand. The tires are Super Swamper Irok's 35 x14.5 x20's . I get no rubbing on the control arms even at full lock left or right. The wheels have a pretty high offset though.
That is the first single cab 2011 I have seen as crazy as that sounds. What size lift do you have? She looks sharp man, nice job.
Thank you , Well to be specific i plow in the winter so a 4.5 inch kit would have been to high to hook up the plow, so i started off with a ready lift 2.5 inch kit .After i installed that the front end sat to high when i had a load in the bed so then i installed a 1 inch add a leaf which of course then made the truck have to much rake in the back . So then I bought a set of 3 inch front spacers off ebay for 80 bucks and replaced the 2.5 inch ones .
The air bags in the front are for the plow in the winter so i don't kill my shocks again, and the rear are only used for when the truck has a load in the bed or the trailer on it. The air bags don't really provide anymore lift ,basically how you see the truck sitting in the pictures is just from the front spacer and add a leaf .
