Gear ratio help
On my 77 460, what would the gearing ratio be? I have a c-6 and it is in a f-250. What would be the best gearing for speed? And also what would be the compromise gearing, a little for speed and a little for normal use? Thanks.

Many people here can decode what your current (if it is stock) gear ratio is from the codes on the door jamb sticker or the tag bolted to the cover on your axle. They will also need your tire size to make gearing suggestions.
