Saw a 2011
I saw a 2011 FX4 Supercrew yesterday at the gym I go to. It was that bright red, 5-bar black grille, smoked head and tail lights, and the "FX4" decal looked a little different for some reason.
I havent yet seen one on a dealers lot, or on Ebay Motors.
It sounds silly, but it kind of bothers me that the truck got upgrades 10months after I bought mine. I can live with out the new engine, but I wouldve liked the smoked headlights and tail lights, and that new gauge cluster. Stinks. Oh well.
With the '11 FX4, is the 5 bar grille an option, or is it now standard?

I think you saw a customized 09 or 10. None of the 11's have been released yet. The FX4's for 2011 have the same grill as the current FX2's, which is not a 5 bar. They do get the raptor/HD heads and tails. A month or so ago I saw a '11 FX4 near the KCAP and the FX4 sticker looked the same. These are the standard wheels also.

I'm glad I didn't buy a 2010, because I'm diggin the new motors. I'm lookin seriously at an extended cab XLT w/ a 5.0, but the stealership told me it will be January before 11's are on the lots here in North Carolina.

The 2011 150's are on the Ford web site. It's my understanding that they are on display at the Los Vagus auto show (going on now?)

They made enough for display and promotion purposes since the State Fair of Texas- late September. They also use them for the Ride and Drive Events.
However, as far as we know they have not shipped any yet for retail consumption.

Saw a 2011
Test drove the new 2011 EcoBoost today at 9:45 AM EST. The test drive event is in the western NY area this week Monday, Tuesday and part of Wednesday. The truck was a Lariat supercrew. The driver said he thinks the truck had 3:73 gears. Compared to my 2009 Supercrew with the 5.4 and 3:31 gears that thing was sweet. Would have loved to hook up a trailer and give it a try but only had 15 minutes with the truck. Might head out to the local dealer on Tuesday evening and try to give it a 2nd test drive. But for a few more minutes. There was no window sticker to look at. As the driver said they are test mules and some things might change slightly before they hit the lots around Febuary or March of next year. Driving in from Michigan he said the lie o meter was running between 20.5 and 21.5 MPG.

Could have been a test vehicle, but otherwise they aren't out yet...
I was at my dealer this morning and looks like they have a Dec. 14 delivery date on their first two. I'm hoping to get mine ordered in late January or early February.
