Alternator Brackets Help
Working on my 79 F250 with a 351M that i just repurchased after selling it a few years ago. The last owner did a 3G swap right before I got it back. After looking it over I noticed the alternator pulley and the crack pulley were way way off and the brackets dont seem right. Anyone have a pics of thiers? Or did he forget to swap brackets? or use the wrong brackets? So if anyone could give me info on what brackets I need to use as i was planing to make a trip to the junk yard in the AM maybe ill grab a set off another truck. Any pics of your alt installed and the belt setup would be helpful as well

Houston we HAD a problem!! Well after a quick trip to the upull it yard I picked up a bracket off another truck and it seems to work. ( Havent installed it just eyed it up and tried to hold everything together at once LOL) So im hoping thats the end of that mess. I think the last owner tossed the correct one when he started replacing/painting the engine bay.
