Stick to the motorcraft filter guys or if you know the racor part number crossover, use that. Racor makes the motorcraft fuel filters. Use nothing less unless you absolutely have to.
I had to use a WIX once because my ford dealer was closed and I found a leaking gasket on the cover.
I just don't trust anything but Racor/Motorcraft. We're talking $1000+/set of injectors and the $17-20 for the motorcraft filter is money well spent in prolonging the injector life.
If money and time were no object I would set up staged filtration like I do on my boats. Here's an article from Tony Athens who really breaks down "staged fuel filtration".
Thanks guy s tonight i went to work on it and it had stoped leaking the last time i opened and closed must of worked the drain pipe side tracked me because it is still sweating so i pulled the drain tube off at the filter and dry as a bone
