thanks! yeah i like (dont hate me haha) the smoked dodge cab lights from recon... its a vendor that we carry at work, comes with light housing the bulb and a connector for each light to aid in wiring. luckily i have my wiring and soldering kit at work so maybe here when it slows down for the winter ill have to pull my truck in and see what damage i can do haha
no did you silicone around the hole where you put your grommet for the wires to come through and under the light housing and screw holes? i am assuming that you did
I am not familiar with those dodge lights but I say use what you like the best.
The ones I bought came the same way, light/lens, gasket, pigtail and bulb.
Yea I basically put a bead of silicone going around all 3 holes to seal the included foam gasket to the cab.
i have a set at work on display and well i just had to take them out and try them on haha... they look really cool and believe it or not the fit like a glove if you position them in an arc with the center being closest to windshield
hey looking good there warozz!
my last truck didn't have the cab lights, and i added them to it as well.
these trucks look so much better with 'em.
nice job!
coalroller, that's so cool your trying this, because iv been debating which to use,the latter fords or the dodge ones.the latter ford ones are too tall i think seems to be the problem.
i don't understand why they don't make 'em for our trucks dangit!
i can't wait to see it.
That sounds like good old fashioned product testing to me! Best install a set just to make sure they work as good as they look
yeah man thats what i figured haha just had to make sure to put them back in the box all nice and neat for a sale

I bought my truck with cab lights on it. I think the truck looks better with cab lights. I want to put a set on our '00 PSD. I have yet to have an orange glow/haze issue during heavy snow storms or rain storms.
congrats rodney! and thanks for all the props guys, so far I love these things! I drove in 2 snow storms this past week and the worst fog EVER yesterday morning and glare was not an issue
