Hey guys, I was looking at putting a set of seats in my 78 supercab from an 08 Crew Cab. Before I make the trip out to look at them I wanted to make sure the front seat would tilt forward like on a car or a supercab. I would hate to make a trip to get them and not have them work right for the situation.
The SCrew back seats are fixed to the back wall. They do not hinge and tilt forward. The seat bottom is hinged and tilts up.
I'm assuming he's asking about the FRONT seat, not the back seat.
I don't have a screw but, I'm pretty sure the front seats on my scab don't fold forward to allow better access to the rear seats (wouldn't really be much point to it with the access allowed by the rear doors) so, I'm going to guess that the screw seats would be the same (for the same basic reason).
Whoops. He did say front huh. Had too much fun last night
The front seats in my SCrew do not tilt forward. They do adjust obviously, but they do not tilt. Simply a slide for and aft for the bottom, with the seatback adjustment. Nothing further.
