I am looking into buying 2008 F250 CC lariat with V10 6 3/4 bed 4X4 49K miles. Truck looks to be in really good shape but oasis report showed it has had multiple serivices for blown lights, headlight, foglight, something with A/C. Is there any common electrical issues with these trucks? Also they are asking $32,900, which I think might be alittle high
I don't know of any issues with the electrical on this year. Sounds like some mods were done along the way or even a wreck. Someone will chime in if they have an experience. The asking price sounds high to me. Need more info to help, like mileage.
If I were looking at this year truck in a V10, Here in Texas they have these starting at about $28K, for that year, depending on mileage and features. And that would be in a Tip-Top shape. Before I bought my 2008 last year, I looked at everything. V10's are sought after vehicles and are really good motors and rather hard to find.
Truck has 49K miles on it but is exceptionally clean. Dealer just put new tires on it. Today I took it for a test drive and it drove really nice. Here in CT there is only a few V10 for sale in whole state. I just dont know if its worth it for the miles on it
I agree, that price is way too high for that truck. If it has electrical problems they can be hard to fix sometimes and cause other problems down the road.
No remote start. If I can get them down to 28K I will buy it otherwise just have to wait it out
What are the specs on the truck? If you are talking a fully loaded 4x4, lariat w/ navigation, sunroof, chrome, 20" wheels, TCS, parking sensors etc then $28k will be very hard to pick this truck up for. List all the options and go to edmunds.com to get an idea of price. 49k is not a lot of miles on an '08. Could have gone into service in '07 giving it 4 years of use already.
