So I broke on of my PSD fuel filter stand pipe you know that little black POS pipe in the fuel bowl well guess what the dealership wants for it??? $75. I was like WTF really for a piece of plastic maybe 6 inches long anyone got a cheaper fix or and idea
Depends upon where/how it broke. At a minimum, the filter won't do its job. It just gets uglier from there. i wouldn't unless it was a one-time emergency situation.
That might work. I suspect you don't need the valve. I'd make the fuel holes close to the same height as the original. You'll have to match the OD of the original, at least down to where the filter sits when installed.
