i just had my trans rebuilt and rear and now i am getting a vibration coming from the trans case area and a vibration that wasnt there before .. mind you the front end was re done as well so i dont know unless its in the trans case and it only happens to be up in the higher speed 50 plus . havent had in 4 wheel yet is there a carrier bearing there like the rear has .. the whole reason the rear was done cause the guy who did the trans never tightend the u joint bolt and it was vibrating so bad it broke my pinion seal could the be the same case and done it to the front drive shaft..
we probably need a tech to chime in,but i think that all the u-joints need be in the same position even after going thru the tansfer case.my guess is if the fronts aren't in the same position as the rears ,the imbalance will still transfer thru the transfer case.
yeah i looked today with the mechanic and we couldnt find anything balanced the front tire and it was off but still the noise is coming thru . checked all the u joints and they were in the same position.and good the only thing i am thinking is the wheel bearing and or axle bearing .. not sure have to see..thanks
