94 Explorer TCC lockup, when?
94 Explorer, 4.0L, A4LD, what are the speeds and times when the torque converter clutch locks up? My friend's will only lock up at speeds above 45 mph, this just doesn't seem like it should be, any insight would be much appreciated, if it isn't normal, and you have an idea of how to change it, let me know. By the way, the transmission is new, and lock-up is the same as the old one, a new tranny wouldn't necessarily change that though, as lockup is electronically controlled, right? right.
