Unhappy Heating Problem

Ok this is the first Explorer I have ever owned and I have alot of questions, when I turn the heater on you can hear the motor but it just doesent seem to be moveing alot of air and it doesent seem to be going vary fast. the inside of the SUV never seems to warm up it is always chilly in there. I have a 89 probe and have never had aproblem with staying warm but in this thing my wife and child and I always fill kinda chilly. And thanks I have learned alot from this fourm so far.

Heating Problem

It's a 91 Ford Explorer, I've looked all over this fourm and havent found any thing else on this problem. I have been told that maby the heater core may be plugged or it might be the switch or even the motor, so whitch one do I try first or is it even any of these things.

Heating Problem

i have the same problem with my 96 explorer. It works fine for about 5 minutes then the air stops blowing but i can still hear the motor going, a friend told me it might be the relay on it or the motor. The relay is about $50 at Ford motor co. and they sell the motor at pepboys for about the same price. I am going to buy one soon and find out.
