first project truck
I bought a 1967 ford ranger 250 w/90,000 original miles and need to figure out what engine type size displacement so on and so forth came in it also i have a holley 650 4b carb and a ford intake manifold DOAE-9425-L will this intake fit my engine (the intake) I think its for a 351 cleveland is this the engine i have please need help and want to start upgrading and rebuilding

welcome to the site.If the engine is the stock engine its either a 352,360 or 390 WHICH IS A F.E. the only things that will fit a F.E.are 352, 360,390,427 or 428.The easy way to tell if its an fe is the intake bolts to the head under the valve cover.

Welcome aboard meone. 67 with V8 would be a FE 352 from the factory. No Cleveland parts will exchange. A couple ways for a rookie to ID a FE is the sparkplugs wires attach like this \\// and the intake goes under the valve covers about an inch.
