Brakes pulling
When I first start out in the morning and for the first couple of miles, the front brakes work normally.
As they heat up from use, they start to pull to the right when I apply normal foot pressure. Not drastically or anything, but I need to hold the steering wheel to keep from changing lanes.
I did notice that the right wheel is noticably warmer than the left indicating that wheel is grabbing harder than the other but it's not too hot to touch for an extended periosd of time.
it also goes straight down the road without a problem when not applying the brakes.
I pulled the wheels and both sides have 3/8" or better of pad left and no unusual wear patterns are evident on the rotors.
With a C-clamp, I pushed the caliper pistons back into the caliper bodies a bit without removing the calipers to be sure that niether was binding or hanging up.
After I put it all together, I did a road test and it still had the same problem.
I am considering swaping the brake pads from one side to the other to see if it pulls in the other direction. if it does then I would need to replace the pads, I think.
thanks for the help,

while doing this I did find that the rim on the right side did have noticably more brake dust on it than the left.
I wonder if there could be somthing with the pads, some inconsistancy that would cause it to grab the rotor harder and wear at a faster rate than the other side (Brake dust).

hows everything, my 1991 did this also, i changed the pads and boughtnew slider pins , cleaned the rust off the slider bores and reinstalled everything havent had a problem since. i really think the rust cleaning and new pins fixed the problem. good luck

The ball joints would cause this problem all the time and I would think it have negative effects on steering as well.
I did notice that the brake squeal I experienced when the front end got good and warm came from the right at first and then it moved to the left after the pad swap. The slider pins are in pristine condition. (like most of the rest of the truck
) I havent had it out on the freeway yet but so far so good..

I had this problem on my 91 bronco I replaced the calipers and it was fine you could probably rebuild them and get the same results
