speedo correction

I have a 1990 F150 5.8L E4OD 4X4...

I changed tires and now obviously speedo is incorrect. Are there VSS drive gear swaps?

There is no VSS on your 1990 model. It will require changing the speedometer drive gear at the tail shaft of your transmission.

The VSS is what the speedometer cable plugs into. See if these websites are any help.
