Well I got the panel off. I just drilled through the spot welds in the back.
The structure of the donor bed is fairly rusty. This part on the bottom right was supposed to stay on the bed wasn't it?
The wheel house on the donor bed is rusted out so I am going to completely remove it. The wheel house on my good bed is good. I am going to drill out the spot welds to get it out and clean it up good. What is the best way to reinstall the wheel house? Do I need to get the panel from the donor bed welded on to my good bed before I try to put the wheel house back in? Sorry for bugging yall so much. Thanks for any help. I don't want to screw up anything and cost me more money.
Well I wanted to give an update on the donor panel. I took it to the body shop yesterday. I cut out a patch panel out of another old bed I had and I ordered a wheel well repair panel. Body man has done work for me in the past and is also sort of cutting me a Christmas deal. 200.00 bucks to do all the work to the panel and a extra 100.00 bucks to hang it on my bed and weld it up after I remove the smashed panel that is on it now. I'll get pics when it all happens, hopefully it will be done within the next two weeks.
