E Fans

I just noticed today that my 2010 F150 has electric fans, is that where they came up with 20 more hp over the 08?

No, they got the extra 20HP by redesigning the dash and putting different wheel arch creases on the fenders and bed.
The Electric fans are good for an extra 1% improved gas mileage. Two 19.2" 10A fans and people thought they wouldn't cool enough. However, my truck has gotten stuck in Dallas traffic many times in 100F+ weather and it stayed pretty cool, no AC drop off either. They are adding electric steering for 2011. I wish they hadn't stopped there. It would be great if my truck had electric steering, AC, and heater too. (And electric door locks, guys, it's 2010... please huh?)

I've never had a cooling issue with any of my CARS that had E-fans. I know in the last thread a year or so ago, some people were complaining that e-fans may not work while the truck is towing or working.

I simply don't believe that. GM has been using them for a while and I've never heard any complaints.
