Tail lights not working
The problem is my taillights dont work. The brake, blinker, reverse, and hazards do work. What I did do is I did put the bed back on and maybe pulled a wire. Maybe. I checked the fuses but I have been known to miss them before. I am assuming one fuse does not run just the tailights, or does it? I have been over the manual a hundred times and Im not sure. I do have it set up for towing and I've looked at the wires and even tested them. There are 3 wires a brown, a black, and a green/yellow with a yellow stripe. The green/w yellow stripe is the brake, as for the brown and black no power. I also tested the bulbs. It had a real crappy ground wire and I reattached it in basically the same place and it seems to be the trailer ground which was attached to the reciever hitch. Question is what number fuse is the tail lights? Under the hood or in the cab? Is that the only ground in the back? Should it be grounded to the frame and not the reciever hitch even though before I pulled it apart it worked fine? Does the center light on the cab light up to? Im not sure? It turns on for breaking. I'm lost and its the only thing thats making it driveable.
