There on O rings on the injectors.

I have seen on my 97 powerstroke that the glow plugs act diferent from my 94 idi they dont cycle like the idi I thought that my alternator was wacky . watch your volt meeter wen mine shows that its chargeing the plugs are off its bin cold here below freezeing all day and night mine starts good

Then they are working. Yesturday it was 40 out at 7am but don't know how cold the block was. I know it was colder then that. I let the glow plugs cycle untill my voltage meter mover the started. Fired right up.
