bleading a slave silinder??
hey guys tranny swap is done!!! i gotta fix a few wires and and a down pipe prob, but no biggy, my prob is what is the best way to blead a slave silinder?? myn has a allen screw on bottom and tryed pumping up and cracking allen head, seamed like we got no where! thanks guys

how long dos that take when you do it that way?? i pumped and pumped they crakeed bleader than pumped! dude the 165 for a bench blead set up seams good about now!! lol did you just crack the bleeder so it just drips or open it and it run a steady stream?

i just opened it up and let it bleed till i thought it drained all the air out.had a dirt car that we tryed bleeding it for over an hour and still nothing so we just left it open and then it worked

Leave the slave hanging by the line. Pump the slave by hand carefully and slowly to force the air up the line and into the master reservior. Gently pump it till you feel the fluid resistance, then attach the slave. I had to use a bar clamp to compress mine to install. Somebody here had a better idea and pulled the actuator arm with a ratchet strap.
