Grill mismatch??
This is a pic of the grill of my truck. I have holes for the teeth, Also cut outs below grill. Do i have a mismatch here? What to do with the triangle holes Oh i'm missing one tooth. Also sterering wheel shaft seems awful long are there different lenghts? Thanks Again

The valance is for a 54 ford, the grille is a 53

Looking for the cheapest way, Thinking grills look expensive. Thinking about maybe filling in the big holes then repaint the valance

OK, then it looks like your grille is correct. I'd fill the valance holes and repaint, if it was me, unless a 53 valance was handy to aquire, refinish, and then swap quick. You can always sell the 54 valance to recoup your costs.

My x-brother-in-law made a fglass one for his 53 daily in the salt driver. Looks good. I'll have to check in the garage, I might have a new valance.

Just got back from the attic in the garage (a chore in itself). I have new from Ford B6C -8188-A That I got for my 54 when I worked for a local dealership. It was either boxed wrong or the parts mgr ordered the wrong part (depending upon how much he had to drink that day). Trade? paint yours Vermillion? For location purposes I'm about 2 hrs from Scranton. PM?
