Back around August/September time Ford put on a traveling show that brought new 2011 f150's to town so people could test drive. I did this and drove all the new engines including the ecoboost. When finished I was leaving and they asked me to fill out a survey so I did. I got a F150 hat and the promis to get a $500 off coupon to use in the purchase of a F150 truck. They said the coupon would be mailed but I have not received it as yet. If there is anyone that did what I did I want to know if they have received the coupon?
Ford also sometimes provides a coupon for an additional 750 off if you order a printed copy of the brochure. I've requested copies a few times and have not recieved anything. I think Ford is falling behind on information requests or is deciding not to fill these requests to save some money. All guesses, so who knows.
It would be mailed via bulk mail so it may be sitting someplace waiting. Our local post office only delivers bulk once a week.
My sales guy just looked up the $750 "coupon" and added in on my deal. You don't have to have the printed brochure from Ford, just have them look it up. I also got the coupon when I ordered the book for the new Explorer. You can get all the deals without Xplan and printed Ford coupon, just work with a good sales guy...
Mine was emailed. It said that you have to take delivery of a new 2011 by Jan 1. I called them and said that is not possible since the ecoboost will not even be out by then. He called me back and said that if I ORDERED it by Jan 1, I would also get the $500 off.
If you didn't get the coupon call them. Also check your spam box in your email. I drove them on September 25 and got the email on Nov 14. This is who it came from: Ford Incentives [candihelp@fordprogramhq.com]
Call Ford Customer Service. They can look you up by name and address and see if there are any offers. The dealer can do the same in their system (Vincent, is what I think it is called). I think it is better to contact Ford yourself because the dealer might not tell you about the rebate and use it as part of their negotiation with you.
Back when I bought my 2002 SCrew new, I had a bad experience at the dealer. When I received the satisfaction survey, I rated everything very good except the issue I had with the sales manager, and after speaking to Ford, they mailed me a $1,000. rebate good towards another new Ford good for 3 years. Two and a half years later, it went towards my '05 F150 with no issue. I guess Ford can be some what generous with these rebates.
