Need a new airbox now!

Took my truck to get the oil changed and while they was at it i let them install a new air filter as i was in a hurry and had to make a 200 mile round trip. To my Horror the mechanic BROKE the top of my airbox. every one of the metal clips and the plastic tips that held the top of the air box down for a good tight seal are broke and he also for some reason unscrewed the sensor that was in the side of the airbox and broke it as well now it wont stay in the airbox completely. Not to mention my truck is now two kinds of pissed because of this. Dumplin will not idle worth a damn and its pretty much running like crap. Bad part is i don't even know if i can find a used one or if i can buy a new one. ugh i am enclosing pictures of what i am talking about I can literally reach and grab the top of the airbox and pull it away from the bottom air box. can you guys suggest or tell me where i can get another air box at or does any of yall have one for sale? thanks guys for reading my book and helping.

Local JY should have some air boxes. Check the sensor for proper operation.
If the business was a chain you can complain to the head office or the local BBB. Tell your friend's and post on one of the local business review blogs. If they were that careless about your air filter I would check the oil filter and drain bolt.

The top of the air box had these tips that the metal clips from the bottom of the air box would snap on to to make an air tight seal he managed to break all of them but one.

For ford trucks with a 302 and the 4r70w tranny this was the first year of mass air flow. so to answer your question no it is not a california truck.

It's a discontinued part from Ford, so it's probably salvage yard time.
