Help!!! Head Removal Question
Hi all! I have another question. I have a 90' F150 and i removed everything including the head bolts but the head wont come off. Does anyone have any tips? i have all the gaskets ready to go and everything has been cleaned and even painted the valve covers and intake manifold. Please help!!

It's a dumb question but sometimes the easiest thing is overlooked- are you sure you've removed all of the head bolts? You didn't by chance miss one that's hiding between a couple of rocker arms or is in a groove? Double check.
Otherwise, do as Neal suggests. If that doesn't work, you might try finding a place to leverage a pry bar and VERY CAREFULLY pry up on the heads.
I don't know if there's any alignment pins or not.

Yes, there's 2 hollow dowels surrounding the outer lower head bolt area on each head (I'm assuming you've got a 5.0 or 5.8, not a 4.9 six, since you said valve covers) if you've got 20 head bolts out, you've got them all, and they're just stuck on.
